I had a great time on the sandwich tour! I've lived in the NYC area my whole life, and it was fun to check out new spots and learn more about some local history. I did this tour with a few friends and we loved it

BOOK. THIS. NOW. This has been the best experience I’ve booked. Ben is fantastic and comes full of humor, knowledge, recommendations and thought provoking questions 🥪 I’d recommend this tour to anyone.

Jarel was a great guide. He is super personable and a gifted conversationalist keeping everyone engaged. The sandwich discussion is tied in well to NYC and the sites visited. There’s nice storytelling while walking, too. I’ll be recommending to others and might go again myself. Thanks for a great time!

This was one of the best tours ever! Ben was so great and funny and such a great storyteller! He truly made the experience once in a lifetime and I have a greater appreciation for sandwiches because of this tour. 1000/10 recommend

What an amazing way to spend an afternoon in NYC! The sandwiches are out of this world and you also get the chance to explore an NYC neighborhood (for us the East Village) like a local! Fun, engaging, delicious. DON’T MISS THIS TOUR! Oh and COME HUNGRY!!

We loved this tour so much! Amazing sandwiches, great company, and some fun discussions of what a sandwich is or isn’t. The stops all had a really nice off the beaten path vibe without tons of tourists. Ben did a great job of catering the stops to our group and we absolutely loved everything we had. Highly recommend booking this tour if you’re looking to try some delicious sandwiches!

My wife and I had an amazing time with Ben! Never would I have imagined a debate on sandwiches being so heated and so interesting! I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether they're into sandwiches or not!

Holy Hotdog!! We did not eat a hot dog however we did debate on what IS and IS NOT a sandwich!! My mind is still blown! What a fun, interactive and mouth-watering tour this was!! Ben took us to his favorite hidden gems which were all unique and different from one another. I arrived hungry and left full! Ben truly is an amazing conversationalist and exceptional story-teller!! He engages with his guests and makes you feel welcome and included. I love his passion for sandwiches and how he explains how sandwiches not only pull up memories but that they are meant to be shared! So come solo or with friends and be prepared to make new friends! I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour!!!

For a spur of the moment food tour this is a tour for you. Ben’s knowledge and love for a sandwich along with the history behind the sandwich is top notch. The knowledge of history of the locations we went to and the history of the city was exceptional. No wonder why he’s rated the number one tour guide in the city of New York. I give this a 5 STAR RATING!!!

On this tour we went to venues I would never of found that gave context to the effort and passion that goes to making good food and service. Washed down with craft beer in unique venues. I will be forever challenging my view of what is a sandwich.

THE BEST THING WE DID IN NYC!!! Wow, what a great way to spend an afternoon in the City. Ben met us at the agreed on location and he immediately blew us away with his knowledge, humor, and discussion about sandwiches. He took us to the best spots and we ate the most delicious sandwiches and were full by the end of it for sure. Highly recommend this , especially for a group because it gave us something fun to do together and we made memories we will never forget.

This was such a fun tour - amazing food, controversial debate and banter over what constitutes as a sandwich, combined with some insightful storytelling about the backstories of some of the sandwich small business, the areas they operate in, and the legalities of a sandwich. Aussies represent! I’ll be doing the Williamsburg tour when I’m back in NYC!

The kind of experience that reminds you how valuable human interactions are (in general and when visiting new places) and how inspiring it is to be around someone who has found his purpose in life. If you're a foodie, this tour is a must! This was a great way to try delicious sandwiches that I never would have come across on my own. I also really enjoyed the story behind each food stop and the surrounding neighborhood. Definitely come hungry and with an open mind regarding what a sandwich is and you will be very satisfied.

Absolutely loved the tour. Who would have thought that a sandwich 🥪 could be so many different things! Loved the history and the stories of not just sandwiches but also the area as walked around. Plus you get to share and enjoy the time with others! Highly recommend. Plus he is a great bloke!

Ben provides an easy going, fun and unique New York tour. His knowledge, not just limited to sandwiches, of the East Village made it a great way to explore the area. This is soo much more than a sandwich tour and Ben will leave you questioning everything about the subject matter you thought you knew! Bonus, he’s an Aussie!

Food tours are my favorite way to experience a city, and this one was by far my favorite!! Ben led us on a sandwich journey that was both delicious and thought-provoking. Our family of four had a great time on the tour. Ben took us to some really unexpected and unique locations that we would have never stumbled up on our own. He also shared some interesting history of the city and each of the businesses that we visited. We got to meet some really great people, eat some delicious food, learn a bit about of cool history about the city. Highly recommend his tour and 100% will do it again the next time we visit.
