Thank you Jean and Uros for an amazing experience! It was my first time dying my hair and experimenting and Jean made my vision come to life exactly the way I wanted it. Highly recommend it to anyone, don’t think twice - can’t go wrong!

I had my first haircut at Thomas Taft last Sunday. It was such a wonderful experience – the Salon was very welcoming, comfortable and kinda fun. Sukran was my Stylist. She listened to what I wanted, gave me feedback and suggestions, then gave me a great haircut. Highly recommended.

I saw Brie and she was amazing! It was my first time getting my hair braided and she made the whole experience very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and the salon itself is beautiful. I highly recommend booking an appointment.

This is, without a doubt, my favorite hair salon of all time. Shlomi is the absolute best, he brought me from dark brown to a natural-looking copper and seriously brought LIFE to my hair. I swear I will not set foot in another salon ever again - he is beyond talented, there is not a single other human who I would allow to touch my hair at this point. Special shoutout to Hatema who always gives the best washes and leaves my dry scalp happy every time. And, of course, the experience would not be complete without Angie, the salon's ray of sunshine who always treats me like a princess. I've tried out plenty of salons in NYC but Shlomi's skills and the overall good vibes in Thomas Taft are unparalleled <3

I got my first haircut at Thomas Taft yesterday, after they had done a big reopening. The salon is beautiful, and offers coffee/tea/wine while you wait! Ahmed was so lovely to talk to and did an amazing job cutting my hair. The blow dry was the best my hair has looked post haircut in a long time. Will definitely be coming back, very reasonable prices as well!

This is my third time back to this salon, and I am always so very happy with my cut and experience. Ranne is a treasure! so thorough and such an expert. My first cut from him went from mid-back length hair to an inverted bob, just below my ears… many inches as you can guess! I was and am so very pleased with the result. I feel confident and beautiful, like a new woman — thank you Ranne! 🙏🏼🙌🏼 I also appreciate my glass of wine that accompanies my cut! ☺️ Thank you!!

I decided day-of that I wanted to chop my hair and within an hour of this decision I had an appointment and with no guiding pictures or ideas of what I wanted I got 10+ inches chopped off by Uro$ and came out with a beautiful short hair cut styled to perfection. Even after he blow dried and put the finishing touches I asked for some revisions and without a huff they were done swiftly and followed exactly what I asked for. I loved it!

I'm in love with my hair now, I've always struggled throughout my hair journey yet after my much needed haircut I'm finally more willing to embrace and love my hair, and it was done by Francesca. This was my first time there, and I'm so glad I chose Thomas Taft. I came in on Monday (9/18/2023). During the consultation, I talked about my issues, goals, and what I wanted in my haircut. I have long 2a/2b waves and wanted fullness, encourage definition for my natural texture, and for the poorly done layers and my bangs (done by a different hair stylist) to be fixed. While keeping a long length. Before the hair cut, it was an uneven mess. The left and right sides of the "face framing" layers were clearly uneven and made it difficult to do even subtle hairstyles. My bangs were hard to manage as random, long pieces kept bothering my face, it wouldn't lay/dry as I wanted it to, and it was honestly driving me crazy. Francesca has fixed the overall shape and kept my hair long, and it's still full while also encouraging my waves to form. I've always struggled with definition, and while using the same products as usual and incorporating some advice and techniques from Francesca, I've noticed my hair cooperating with the products more, plus my waves don't fall flat as it used to. My bangs no longer have random pieces interrupting my daily life, which my eyes and selfies are thankful for. There is still some work needed to be done, as I really wanted my hair to stay long and didn't want to sacrifice most of my length. To be honest, I didn't really care for layers since the previous stylist ruined my hair because of it. Yet Francesca's work made me appreciate how it can benefit my hair. Still love the results a week later. I just wish I had come to this salon and stylist sooner. Definitely recommend :3 (I've added my after and before pictures of my hair)
