I recently went on a Walk & Talk Tour with Tyler in early December and I am STILL thinking about some of the things I learned on her tour. I walked away feeling like I had a much deeper understanding of Charleston and South Carolina's role on the local and national stages throughout American history. I also really loved that Tyler didn't shy away from acknowledging some of the more painful parts of America's past. Highly recommend Tyler's tours if you're visiting Charleston.

We had the most wonderful time on our Walk and Talk History and Historic Gossip tour. Tyler was fantastic and so knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. We really felt like we had the opportunity to see the whole city on foot as well as hear unique stories of the history of Charleston. We will certainly be back to experience other Walk and Talk tours!

Indescribable - that's the only word I can think of when it comes to Tyler and the team at Walk & Talk! I have gone on many tours now, both public and private, and with different guides and each time I come away learning or seeing something new! They keep every tour fun, entertaining, and interactive, while being very honest and educational about our past, current, and future history and sociopolitical issues. Whether you are visiting or are a local to Charleston, a tour with Walk & Talk is a must!

This tour was absolutely fabulous! I couldn’t believe we went to eleven Galleries! The owners of the galleries were so informative, and very welcoming. Refreshments were served in everyone, from champagne, to wine, and a sweet treat in most. The art was beautiful, and diversified and our host. Tyler was wonderful highly recommend this tour, Great value.

Tyler is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate expert of Charleston history. You can tell she’s truly inspired by all sides of it, and does not shy away from less than rosy details of the reality of colonialism that other guides might. She’s also kind and funny, and has never met a stranger. Highly recommend!

My mom and I both live in Charleston and really enjoyed our walking tour with Walk and Talk. This is a fantastic way to see some of Charleston’s most beautiful sites and hear what makes our city so unique along the way. We were so impressed with Tyler’s breadth and depth of Charleston history and accompanying interesting stories. Her devotion to Charleston is evident and she has her “finger on the pulse” of current happenings in our city - she’s an expert of past and present! I’ll be recommending Walk and Talk to visiting friends and family from here on out. Thanks Tyler!

Tyler was an incredible hostess as we played "tourist" in our own backyard. She organized a private tour specific to my group's interests and was able to connect us with fabulous locals along the way. Her lid for the day was a 10/10! Would highly recommend to visitors or locals alike. Thanks, Tyler!

I thought we’d be with the lid lady herself, but we had a man instead. He had a lot of knowledge, but tone and demeanor was very monotone so felt like you were in class. Really close to Rainbow Row & the Pineapple Fountain but didn’t actually go there so I would’ve liked that.
