I go on food tours in every city I visit and this tour by far surpassed all others. The food was absolutely delicious and filling! The portions are bigger than any other tour I've been on, and the mix of food vastly ranged and captured many styles of Charleston cuisine. Last but not least our guide Simon was the cherry on top. He was so wise, kind, and attentive. He made sure we were all having a good time and it was so special. We were all sad when it was over but will cherish this memory forever. I 100% recommend this tour!

Our family group of nine people took the Charleston tour with Dana. The food was fantastic (pork sliders, collard greens, biscuits and gravy, burgers, she crab soup, shrimp and grits, coconut cake, and more). Dana was informative, flexible, and fun. We had some special needs to accommodate, and she did so easily (we didn't even have to ask!). The history she shared was very interesting. I highly recommend this tour.

Charley at the Charleston Culinary Tours office was super friendly and helpful in working with me to select the right tour for our group of 10. She also passed on great suggestions for restaurants and other activities for us to consider during our stay in Charleston. I chose this company over other options for our tour because it was a locally-based business and also because Charley was so great to deal with. Fast forward to the day of our tour. Dana took our group of 10 around the market area for a fantastic culinary experience at four local restaurants. Great stops, amazing eats/drinks, and lots of history was shared about the restaurants and the city as a whole. Dana was easy going, knowledgeable and went out of her way to customize the tour for our party. We also had a chance to meet Guilds, the owner of CCT, at one of our stops. He was born and raised in the area and as such, shared a lot of interesting local information with our team. He even spoke to us in the local [language], Gullah. Very cool! I highly recommend anyone contemplating a food tour, to book with Charleston Culinary Tours. They do not disappoint!

This was one of the very best food tours we have taken! The stops were excellent, restaurants were prepared and we were able to try a wide variety of foods central to Charleston's history. Our guide was also very knowledgeable about Charleston, current and updated information as well as its history. Well done and highly recommended!
