Danny was very calm and had a low tone voice that suggested confidence in his abilities to teach us, and for us to trust in our ability to kayak successfully!

We loved our kayaking tour with Daniel. It was great to just get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the quiet. We saw birds, turtles and fish and maybe a bear or was it just a cow. Daniel was friendly and really wanted it to be our experience. He kindly took photos, had water and made us feel comfortable and confident when out kayaking. Great day out! Thanks.

Daniel was an amazing guide! He’s knowledgeable of the area and his sense of humor made our trip enjoyable. Night fell as we headed back to the dock and our kayak’s were equipped with LED lights, so cool!! I definitely recommend going on this tour if you’re new to kayaking or want to see more of Old Hickory Lake!

Awesome, fantastic, wonderful…..just a few words to describe this kayak adventure. Lasted about 2.5 hours and saw a bunch of wildlife along with a few fish jumping in the boats. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Nashville area. A lot better than the downtown kayak tours. The guides were great as well! Thanks for everything!!

The tour was absolutely amazing. The sunset/glow tour was the one we picked. It was educational with beautiful sites. We learned about wildlife and they even enlightened us about more things to do around the park. In total the tour was about two hours long and the sunset was so pretty with hues of pinks and purples. As it got darker the glow of the kayak was very apparent in the water. We shared stories and had great conversation. And at the end we got stickers too. This is definitely a repeat trip.

This was our first time kayaking and Danny and his wife were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and wildlife! They took us 2-3 miles around the lake and the clear kayaks were very stable and added a unique touch. Such a fun experience! Instructions to the dock were also very clear and easy to find.

Get up and go kayaking was amazing. Daniel by far made you feel comfortable in the water. The day couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you and we will be back again with family and friends. Can’t wait to try the later evening on the water at sunset as the clear bottom kayak lights up.
