- Included Polaris Protection Plan: With each rental, the renter is responsible for the first $3,500 of any damage to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived. On the day of rental, the renter's credit card will have a hold placed on the card for the security deposit in the amount of $3,500 per vehicle. Once the vehicle is returned and inspected for possible damage or abuse and no signs of damage or abuse are found, the credit hold will be immediately released. If there is any damage or abuse detected, then Happy Trails Rental will keep the security deposit hold in place to allow a mechanic time to inspect and report all damages.
- Minimum Age: Minimum age to drive and rent is 26 with a valid driver's license. However, licensed drivers between 18-25 years old are allowed to drive only if they are accompanied by their parents in the same vehicle at the same time (no exceptions).
- Fuel Charge: You will be charged for fuel consumed during your ride. We only charge for the fuel you consume. All vehicles have a full tank when they depart. Fuel cost is added when you return the vehicle. We charge $7 per gallon.
- Sun Protection: Pack sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses to shield yourself from the desert sun.
- Comfortable Clothing: Wear breathable and comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities.
- Closed-Toe Shoes: Opt for sturdy, closed-toe footwear to ensure safety during the ride.
- Water Bottles: Stay hydrated with plenty of water; the desert heat can be intense.
- Snacks: Bring some energy-boosting snacks to keep you fueled during the adventure.
- Camera/GoPro: Capture the excitement and stunning scenery with a camera or GoPro.
- Bandana or Scarf: Protect your face from dust and wind.
- Portable Phone Charger: Ensure your devices stay charged for photos and emergencies.
- Sense of Adventure: Most importantly, bring your sense of adventure and be ready for a fantastic experience on the desert trails with Happy Trails!
